Sharon M. Zimmer, Esq.

Of Counsel
Sharon Zimmer joined the firm as a partner in August, 2014, and is now of counsel to the firm. Previously, Ms. Zimmer was a partner at Hofheimer Gartlir & Gross, LLP, where she worked for forty years. Her practice includes all facets of commercial and residential real estate law. She represents developers, financial institutions, not-for –profits and individual purchasers and sellers of real estate properties ranging in size from individual apartments to office buildings and multi-building projects. Her practice has included structuring new residential and commercial condominiums, representing converters in cooperative and condominium conversions, and representing major institutions, small companies and individuals in commercial leasing transactions, both for landlords and tenants.

Some specific examples of Ms. Zimmer’s work include:

• Representing a developer of a ground lease condop and establishing a residential cooperative within the Residential Unit, including the sale of the individual cooperative apartments by the Sponsor;

• Representing a New York developer in structuring a four unit condominium within a major New York City building pursuant to No-Action Letter from the New York State Attorney General’s office; and

• Representing a New York City Not-for-Profit Corporation in the sake of the building serving as their New York City headquarters, and in a long term lease of an entire New York City building.

Ms. Zimmer is a member of  the New York State Bar Association and belongs to the New York Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW). She enjoys an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
