Jules Levy, Esq.

levy.web_200x300Jules Levy joined the firm as of counsel in August, 2014. Previously, Mr. Levy was a partner at Hofheimer, Gartlir & Gross where he worked for almost fifty (50) years. He represents developers, purchasers and sellers of real estate properties, such as office buildings, apartment complexes, shopping centers, and vacant land. He assists clients with leasing and a wide variety of financing transactions. Mr. Levy also represents banks in mortgage loan transactions and other clients in areas of general corporate, partnership and tax law.

An expert in the field of cooperative and condominium law, Mr. Levy wrote some of the first offering plans in the State of New York in the middle to late 1960s and continues to do so today. He practices before the New York State Department of Law in all aspects of condominium and cooperative law and has written numerous offering plans for condominiums, cooperatives and homeowners’ associations since the 1960s.

Mr. Levy has served as a member of the New York Attorney General’s Advisory Committee for Condominium and Cooperative Legislation as well as a member of the Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company/Transamerica Title Insurance Company of New York Advisory Board.

Mr. Levy is a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York and New York State Bar Association (Section of Real Property Law, Committee on Condominiums and Cooperatives). He has participated in seminars on real estate and condominium matters for the Westchester Builders Institute and other organizations. He enjoys an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
